Our intake coordinator will review your intake form and diagnostic report and contact you directly if additional information is needed. Once we know what services you need and we have your most current autism diagnostic report, our insurance team will verify your benefits. We will then contact you via email to let you know the coverage and estimated cost of your therapy services.
Our ABA Director will contact you to further discuss your needs and ABA at PediaPlex. This phone call is a great time to ask questions about our ABA schedule, the evaluation process, and concerns you have for your child. Next, we will begin the authorization process for an ABA therapy evaluation. We will request authorization from your insurance provider and wait for them to send us the approved dates for an evaluation. As soon as we receive authorization dates for the evaluation, we will contact you to schedule your child’s evaluation.
The purpose of the ABA evaluation is for our BCBA to identify the developmental goals for your child and create your child’s plan of care that will be submitted to your insurance provider. When arriving for your evaluation appointment please bring the completed paperwork that our intake coordinator sends you plus your driver’s license, insurance card, and a method of payment.
After we submit your child’s plan of care to your insurance provider, we will wait for them to send us an authorization to begin ABA therapy at PediaPlex. Depending on the authorization details, your clinic’s availability, and your child’s schedule we will be able to schedule your child for ABA therapy.
